Description: The Executive Director Financial Strategy has primary responsibility for planning, implementation and achievement of strategic objectives for the Finance organization. This position is responsible for assessing the financial performance of the Network by analyzing its performance and risks. Typical Duties:
  1. Collaborates with Senior Management to develop long range strategic plans to incorporate expected volumes, new programs and other changes identified by management.
  2. Oversees and manages all financial strategic planning programs to meet short and long-term objectives.
  3. Develops strategic plans and identifies strengths and weaknesses in order to achieve financial objectives.
  4. Recommends and develops financial strategies based on long-range health care trends, economic drivers, expansion opportunities and competition.
  5. Conducts analysis on financial performance, organizational capacity and operating costs to address areas that require improvement, make forecasts and report to Senior Management.
  6. Ensures the best use of organizational resources in accordance with objectives.
  7. Retains constant awareness of the Network’s financial position and acts to prevent issues.
  8. Oversees development of staff and recruits and motivates team members to provide consistent and accurate information needed by the organization on a timely basis.
  9. Ensures adherence to financial laws and guidelines.
  10. Performs other job related duties as assigned.
Preferred Education and Experience:
Preferred Licensure/Certification/Specialized Training:
  • Required Education and Experience:
  • Bachelor’s Degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration or related field from an accredited University.
  • 5 plus years of healthcare experience.
  • 5 plus years experience in a leadership role.
  • Solid knowledge of financial analysis and forecasting.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office to include Word, Excel and PowerPoint.
  • Master’s Degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration or related field from an accredited college or University.
  • Certified Public Accountant or other relevant certification.
