Qualifications/Duties:
The VP of Financial Analytics is responsible and accountable for the timely and accurate production of financial analysis that drives optimized investments, including: decision support analysis, net revenue analysis, productivity analysis, M&A analysis, pro-forma and business case analysis and cost modeling.  The position will support strategic initiatives that span across the organization, including the consumer experience.

The President has the following duties and responsibilities:

•Provide financial leadership and support for strategic initiatives that span across the organization, such as consumer experience initiatives.
•Provide financial leadership and support for capital projects with costs in excess of $10 million, as well as responsibility for maintaining a systems approach for period review and reporting on a look back basis for projects approved by the board and finance committee.
•Provide financial leadership and support for business development activities, in conjunction with the Business Development department, including due diligence and pro forma support.
•Set and monitor financial key performance indicators (KPI) metrics and analyze trends; assess and apply market and healthcare trends to financial plans and priorities, including quarterly cash flow plans and comparisons to competitors / benchmarking health systems.
•Develop and/or support presentations summarizing financial performance to the board, board committees, executives and other leaders.
•Serve as a financial resource, on an “as needed basis”, for the ERP PeopleSoft transformation project.

Education and/or Experience:
•Bachelor’s degree or equivalent finance experience working in a data-driven environment and/or healthcare industry. 
•MBA or Master’s in Analytics preferred. 
•CPA, HFMA Certification, and/or ACHE Accreditation preferred.
•Minimum 8-10 years of progressively increasing, administrative and operationally intense experience.
•Proven ability to work with large amounts of data and develop financial models to drive business decisions.
•Ability to communicate and partner across the organization.
•Strong financial and business acumen.
•Ability to think strategically.
•Expertise analyzing and assessing market dynamics and forecasting market share.
