The City of Fort Worth Financial Management Services has a Sr Business Process Analyst job available.  You will be responsible for the City’s PeopleSoft Cash Management application, as well as the City’s iNovah Point of Sale system.  You will also serve as co-owner for the PeopleSoft Accounts Receivable and Billing modules, which includes implementation and support to multiple departments throughout the city.  You will report directly to the Financial Systems Manager. 
 
Sr Business Process Analyst job duties include:
  • Provide Cash Management business analysis services.
  • Conduct business process analysis, needs assessments, enterprise analysis, and preliminary cost/benefits analysis in an effort to align information technology solutions with City business initiatives.
  • Prepare system and program specifications and requirements.
  • Work as a liaison among stakeholders in order to elicit, analyze, communicate and validate requirements for changes to business processes, information systems, and other technology initiatives.
  • Bank account maintenance and set up.
  • Bank statement accounting automated entries.
  • Bank reconciliation, including automatic reconciliation.
  • Receivables deposit support.
  • PeopleSoft upgrade testing.
  • iNovah system management.
  • Other system enhancements and improvements as needed.
 
Minimum job requirements include:
  • Bachelor’s degree from an accredited college or university with major course work in Business Administration, Public Administration, Information Technology, or related field.
  • Five or more years of business analysis experience.
 
Preferred experience includes:
  • Understand cash management, cash receipting, and cash payment processing in the context of the requirements and work with others to recommend and implement solutions that enable the organization to achieve its goals.
  • Capable of providing front line diagnosis and troubleshooting for technical problems; report writing including development/maintenance/modification along with the ability to design and maintain ad hoc queries.
  • Perform special projects and initiatives as requested by management.
  • PeopleSoft Cash Management functional expertise.
  • Ability to work in a collaborative environment leading to superior outcomes and the capability to produce results.
  • Broad understanding of multiple information technology disciplines.
  • PMP, CBAP or other Business Analysis license/certifications.
  • Knowledge/Certification in SQL.
  • LEAN, Six Sigma or other lean certifications.
