The Agile Coach, Digital coaches and guides teams, leaders and executives in the Thomson Reuters organization to demonstrate agile principles, practices and frameworks to deliver impactful products. This position will serves as a change agent, and the subject matter expert on scaling agile development for the organization and work by observing, evaluating, and implementing changes to tackle organizational and cultural impediments. You will need to displays behaviors that come with the key mindset shifts associated with being agile. You will seek opportunities for continuous improvements and influence change at all organizational levels.

Job Responsibilities:

  • Your responsibilities include mentoring teams on driving an Agile Digital mindset and implementing practices in their day-to-day work. You will Manage, coach and train Agile and Scrum methodology team members across labs. You will be a role model with your agile mindset and knowledge of scrum ceremonies with teams.
  • You will support the product owners in feature definition, decisions /trade-offss to be made, maintaining product backlog (writing stories, prioritization, etc.)
  • You will coach senior leaders to remove organizational constraints and understand benefits of applying agile principles across the entire organization.
  • You will help to develop organization wide Agile awareness as needed, by creating training materials, and content; translates industry standard methodologies into actionable recommendations
  • Develops and monitors metrics to track progress of Agile adoption and maturity to aid in accelerating overall Agile transformation effort
  • You will have to raise recurring and widely observed issues and bottlenecks to agile partners.
  • Your a rockstar at promoting self-organization, team spirit and continuous improvement within the business segments.

Basic Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s Degree 10+ years of experience in a similar role
  • 8+ years Business domain and/or technical experience and process management
  • 5+ years of experience in leading inter-dependencies in a mixed methodology setup (Scrum working with Waterfall)
  • Knowledge and experience working with development tools
  • Deep understanding of business needs/ requirements
  • 7+ years’ experience with Agile methodology
  • Deep expertise in scrum, Kanban and other agile and lean delivery methodologies, feature prioritization, MVP definition and release management.

Desired Skills:

  • Strong negotiation and leadership skills.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication and presentation skills. Demonstrated ability to influence at all levels within the company across all functions with a team oriented style.
  • Experience working successfully with virtual/global teams, effectively adapting to local operating models and culture.
