Trinity Metro has an immediate opening for a Property Manager. This position reports to the Director of Facilities.  Under limited supervision, oversees marketing, sales, and booking of events at Trinity Metro facilities to external and internal clients. Oversees the logistics of all catered and non-catered events, including food and beverages, all audio and video equipment, room set up, correct placement of the flags, and staffingThis position is also responsible for doing scheduled and detailed walk-through inspections and putting together detailed facility assessment reports.  This positon will also help prepare bid documents, schedule and oversee projects.
This position’s responsibilities include:
  • Markets and rents Trinity Metro facilities and services to potential clients; meets with clients to inform of all services provided, and furnishes a list of catering requirements, if required, of the events.
  • Enlists supporting departments when the specific event requires additional audio, video and computer access.
  • Supervises catered and non-catered events at Trinity Metro facilities, including room scheduling and coordinating with the custodial and maintenance personnel, to insure the facilities are set up properly and in good state of repair.
  • Prepares action plans and schedules to identify specific targets and to establish contacts to be made; follows up on new leads and referrals resulting from field activity. Solicits and develops new customer base.
  • Promotes the usage of the Trinity Metro facilities for meetings, conferences, seminars and other events. Makes rate and pricing recommendations.
  • Prepares and maintains daily/weekly/monthly calendar of scheduled events for facilities; keeps appropriate personnel informed of calendar changes.
  • Provides information regarding catering and services.
  • Participates in the development of operating goals and objectives for the Trinity Metro's rental facilities; recommends, implements, and administers methods and procedures to enhance operations.
  • Responds to inquiries and researches and resolves problems related to facilities rental transactions; serves as liaison with other departments and organizations in the resolution of day-to-day administrative and operational issues.
  • Establishes rapport and maintains contact with contract clients and potential clients.
  • Coordinates with food service and building service personnel for food and beverage requirements, delivery and set-up of events, staffing, etc.
  • Coordinates off-duty Fort Worth Police Department security officers for event security services.
  • Follows up with customers on a routine basis to ensure satisfaction with services received.
  • Handles financial transactions and accepts credit card payments as needed.
  • Processes rental paperwork including execution of rental agreements and submittal of revenues to Accounting Department.
  • Performs miscellaneous job-related duties as assigned.
  • Walks Trinity Metro facilities to insure the state of good repair. Will follow up with any issues found and coordinate with building maintenance and custodial supervisors to insure its repairs.
  • Helps produce procurement documents for repairs when needed.
Proficient use of computer word processing, spreadsheets, and database management is required.  Novell, Microsoft Word and Excel experience.
Associate's Degree with major course work in public administration, business administration, property or real estate; or at least 3 years of experience that is directly related to the duties and responsibilities specified.
Any combination of experience, training and/or education which provides the required knowledge, abilities and skills may substitute for the required education.
