The City of Fort Worth Municipal Court Services is seeking to hire a Resource Financial Manager for our Administrative Services division. The successful incumbent will report to the Assistant Municipal Court Services Director and will provide direct supervision and coordination of the fiscal and administrative functions of the Municipal Court Services Department.  
Resource Financial Manager major responsibilities include:
  • Prepare and administer all fiscal matters including budget, purchasing, auditing, revenue accounting, financial management, contract management and treasury.
  • Perform complex administrative and business management work including human resources, performance evaluations, quality assurance, technology, facilities and community outreach.
  • Provide leadership to staff members which include developing goals/deadlines, training initiatives and business process improvement.
  • Handle confidential matters and manage documentation/reports that will be time sensitive.
  • Coordinate assigned activities with other departments and outside agencies.
  • Provide highly responsive and complex administrative support to the department’s Executive Team.
Minimum job requirements include:
  • Master’s Degree in Business Management, Public Administration, Business Administration, Human Resources or related field.
  • A minimum of two years of increasingly responsible and complex administrative, fiscal, personnel and management experience.
  • A minimum of one year of experience working in a supervisory capacity.
Preferred experience includes:
  • Experience working with financial management systems.
  • Ability to perform complex financial analysis and forecasting for expenditures and revenues.
  • Strong time management skills and the ability to constantly shift priorities.
  • Strong Microsoft Office Suite application skills.
  • Knowledge of human resource administrative duties.
