Freese and Nichols is currently searching for a transportation engineer for our Frisco or Dallas offices.  Serve as a design lead and project manager for municipal projects. This person will be responsible for leading the analysis, design, and preparation of technical reports, plans, specifications and estimates for various transportation projects. 
Qualifications
Requirements for this position include a Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering and a current Texas professional engineering license (or the ability to become licensed in Texas within 6 months).  A Master’s degree in Civil Engineering is a plus. Candidate should have 5-10 years’ experience in roadway design with at least 3-5+ years of progressive project management experience.  Strong technical skills in roadway/drainage design is required. Must know MicroStation and Geopak/Open Roads.  Project management experience should include: client contact responsibilities, project deliverables, project execution, agency coordination, scope and fee development along with project scheduling and subsequent tracking/reporting activities.
