Sr. Analyst - International Compensation

This job is a member of the International Compensation Team within the People/HR Division. This position will be responsible for assisting in the design, development, and implementation of Compensation policies, structures and practices.
Specifically, you’ll do the following:
  • ​Acts as a resource to all levels of management and other Human Resources employees regarding salaries for new hires, promotions, transfers, compensation analysis, and issue resolution
  • Develops and implements annual pay plan reviews for assigned countries
  • Implements and administers compensation policies/programs/procedures
  • Assists with market pricing and performs benchmark analyses to determine Company’s competitiveness in the marketplace
  • Conducts job evaluations, creates/maintains job codes, and writes and edits job descriptions as needed
  • Provides analyses to leaders on an ad-hoc basis
  • Assists in the analysis, recommendation and implementation of Compensation related activities such as merit planning and administration, salary structure movement, and incentive plan development
  • Performs system testing relating to compensation
  • Ability to travel to represent the Company at airline industry conferences or to meet/work with Compensation and international Human Resource counterparts, as needed.
Required Qualifications
  • ​​​​Bachelor’s Degree in related field or equivalent experience/training
Preferred Qualifications
  • ​​​Compensation experience
  • Experience with job evaluations and writing job descriptions
  • Work experience in analytical role
  • Advanced Excel skills
  • Knowledge of Microsoft Office to include Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Access, etc.
  • Strong analytical and mathematical skills
  • Ability to successfully manage multiple projects concurrently
  • High level of professionalism, discretion and objectivity
  • Ability to apply appropriate judgment and discretion in completing work assignments to ensure confidentiality of employee compensation data
  • Ability to prioritize tasks and provide strong customer service
  • Detail-oriented with ability to work in fast-paced environment
