Job Overview
 
As a Learning and Development Coordinator you will be responsible for utilizing a strong ability to organize and coordinate multiple tasks, differentiate among competing demands and work under time pressure to meet deadlines.  You will also assist with in analyzing training surveys, in creating PowerPoint presentations and assisting with other special projects as assigned.  Additionally, you will have the opportunity to learn a learning management system and be able to schedule and record class attendance.  .

What you will be doing:
 
Manage training tasks
  • Manages learning center room setup requirements with maintenance team
  • Supports various employee training assignments which includes tracking of vendor license and communication to employees and the vendor
  • Manages materials set up requirements for all classes offered and/or assist vendors in room materials setup
Assist with training communication effortsAssist with learning management system tasks
  • Tracks and monitors all emails to the learning management system
  • Supports human resources and managers with the learning management system reporting
  • Schedules and records class attendance in the learning system
  • Enters scheduled training offerings in the learning management system
Scheduling
  • Serves as backup for the learning center calendar and booking requests for internal clients
  • Coordinate / book meetings with executives and senior staff when needed
Assists with survey analysis / data in general
Creates PowerPoint presentations as needed for meetings, special projects or special speakers
 
What we require of you:
  • Completion of a high school education or equivalent
  • Two (2) years of professional experience with increasing responsibility in administrative duties
  • Possession of a valid Class C driver's license

  • Knowledge of current rules, regulations, laws, principles, practices and policies related to human resources administration.
  • Skill in communicating with others both verbally and in writing at all levels within and outside of the organization.
  • Ability to work independently and as a member of a team.
  • Ability to organize and coordinate multiple tasks, differentiate among competing demands and work under time pressure to meet deadlines.
  • Ability to utilize databases for query and reporting purposes.
  • Ability to safeguard sensitive or confidential information from intentional or unintentional disclosure.
  • Ability to check information and identify errors.
  • Experience with MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook software.
