Security Compliance Analyst

As a Security Compliance Analyst you will be responsible for researching and advising the employees on security policy, procedures and regulations. You will author reports and make presentations to stakeholders on key security issues. You’ll have the opportunity to help build the partnership between DFW Airport’s Security team and our federal partners.
 
This position works an afternoon shift and may need to be available on weekends.
 
What you will be doing:
  • Updates and maintains portions of the Airport Security Plan (ASP) in compliance with CFR 1542 and 1544.
  • Reviews, with sufficient frequency, all security-related functions to ensure that all are effective and in compliance with security program, and applicable Security Directives.
  • Reviews and reports on security violations and incidents; reviews, investigates and resolves issues in the field and over the telephone.
  • Proactively works with Board departments, contractors, and vendors to ensure proper understanding and compliance with the airport security program.
  • Addresses, researches, and drafts amendments to the Airport Security Program/Plan.
  • Reviews compliance with Board and Department policies, state and federal laws.
  • Reviews, researches and drafts timely response to security issues (LOI’s) identified by the TSA.
What you need:
  • Bachelor’s degree in aviation management, business administration or a related field.
  • Two (2) years of security or law enforcement experience.
  • Any equivalent combination of education and/or experience may be substituted for the above on a year-for-year basis.
  • Citizenship of the United States of America.
  • Possession of a valid Class C driver’s license.
  • Has not been convicted of a Class “B” misdemeanor within the last ten years or any offense greater than a Class “B”.
What we desire:
  • At least one (1) year experience as a Security Officer in the DFW Airport Department of Public Safety.
  • At least one (1) year of experience in an operation that performed one or more of the following duties: maintained an Airport Security Program, performed inspections of airport facilities for security issues, partnered with TSA to resolve security concerns.
