As a Procurement & Materials Management Project Administrator you will be working alongside the contract administrator and board secretary ensuring that all board actions are accurate and complete. You will review all board actions for  the Board of Directors monthly meeting. You will have the opportunity to serve in the Procurement & Materials Management department of one of the busiest airports in the world.
What you will be doing:
  • Coordinate the completion of Official Board Actions and required presentations for Board committees prepared and/or submitted by the department.  Plan and schedule activities to meet the demands of the monthly Board cycle.
  • Collect monthly and review for accuracy all required DFW Airport Business Disclosure Forms and Workforce Composition Forms.
  • Develop and distribute the department Official Board Action reports, including the Interlocal Report, monthly purchasing, change order and professional services reports and other reports that are required.
  • Schedule and lead monthly OBA review meetings and prepares executive briefing notes.
  • Requires frequent interface with the Board Secretary.
 
What you need:
  • Bachelor's degree in business, public administration, finance, construction management, English or related field.
  • Three (3) years of progressively responsible professional-level experience business administration, finance, report drafting or a related area.
  • Any equivalent combination of education and/or experience may be substituted for the above.
  • Possession of a valid Class C driver's license.
What we desire:
  • Experience in the administration of contracts and/or purchase orders.
  • Knowledge of contract compliance in a public entity.
  • Attention to detail in a fast-paced environment; exceptional proofreading and editing skills.
  • Excellent collaboration, interpersonal and organizational skills.
  • Applying good decision-making and conflict resolution skills.
