The Attorney reports directly to the Associate General Counsel, who is responsible for managing the daily operations of the legal services department of Tarrant County College District (the College).
• Support the Associate General Counsel in providing legal representation to the College 
• Oversee and manage legal support and/or interpretations on employment and labor law, discrimination complaints, grievance processes, and staff, faculty and student discipline issues 
• Performs duties within scope of general College policies, procedures and objectives. Analyzes problems and performs needs assessments. Uses judgment in adapting broad guidelines to achieve desired result. Regular exercise of independent judgment within accepted practices. Makes recommendations that affect policies, procedures and practices. 
• Oversee and manage legal support on employment matters, Title IX, and student discipline including applicable laws and regulations 
• Oversee and manage the researching of legal issues and provide written recommendations and memorandum 
• Oversee and manage the District’s public information 
• Provide legal support to Administration and the Office of Human Resources 
• Attends the workplace regularly, reports to work punctually and follows a work schedule to keep up with the demands of the worksite
• Completes all required training and professional development sessions sponsored through Tarrant County College (TCC)
• Supports the values of the College: diversity, teaching excellence, student success, innovation and creativity and service to the College
• Supports the mission, values and 3 goals and 8 principles of the College
