Compensation/HRIS Analyst

Assist with the management and support of the College’s compensation system.

• Manage the classification and compensation system by conducting job anaylsis, job evaluation studies of new positions, reclassfication requests and, system recommendations 
• Conduct annual salary surveys for cost of living adjustments, pay increases, market adjustments, benefits, special studies, and participate in local, state, and national community college and industry salary surveys
• Conduct equity and market salary analysis of starting pay for employees recommended above entry level, and for current recommended for promotion 
• Coordinate and establish a maintenance system for all current and new job descriptions which will consist of creating, revising, updating and posting on the web site
• Evaluate new and existing positions for exemption status under the Fair Labor Standards Act (FLSA)
• Conducts organizational studies, prepares reports regarding compensation and staffing issues 
• Interprets overtime policies and regulations for application at the College;
• Assist in the budget recommendations for pay increases each year based on information gathered and the College’s ability to pay salary increases; and 
• Prepare special statistical demographic reports and workforce analytics for internal and institutional HR reporting and planning as it relates to compensation, benefits, leave, EEO, workforce, planning, and other special internal studies and using enterprise softward, Colleague, Oracle database query tools, Excel spreadsheets, HRIS systems including implementation
• Uses interpersonal skills, thinks, reasons, and makes sound judgments to decide how duties and responsibilities are completed 
• Completes all required training and professional development sessions sponsored through the Tarrant County College (TCC) Institute
• Supports the values of the College: diversity, teaching excellence, student success, innovation and creativity and service to the College
• Supports the mission, vision, and the 3 goals and 8 principals
• Performs other duties as assigned
