The Director of Grants Management manages College grants management and compliance function conducted through TCCD’s Office of Grants Development and Compliance. Reports to the District Executive Director of Grants Development.
• Creates, implements, evaluates, and refines a system of on-going oversight, guidance, training, and support related to development, programmatic and fiscal compliance in the implementation and management of government-funded and privately funded grants at TCCD
• Leads the development and implementation of both financial and programmatic controls and monitoring systems appropriate to ensure compliance of TCCD’s grant-funded projects with their respective local, state, federal, private, and TCCD policies, procedures, and regulations
• Oversees and coordinate the department’s grants contracts and financial management. Act as the staff’s primary point of contact and resource for all pre- and post-award grant activities
• Responsible for grants and contracts processing. Oversees accurate completion and timely routing of internal grant documents and disclosures. Maintains database and records to track activities
• Monitors and disseminates information concerning guidelines and regulations for grant applications
• Administers all post-award activities in collaboration with Post-award Coordinators
• Provides ongoing financial oversight of grants and contracts, including but not limited to: tracking of funds, evaluating expenditures, time and effort, preparing financial reports and forecasting
• Develops processes to assist faculty in preparing and overseeing applications for Institutional Review Board approvals including departmental approval process.
• Supervises grant logging system to assure capture of necessary data for faculty salary projections and pending grant information, prepares changes of effort and funding documentation/requests
• Initiates and processes finance forms including, but not limited to, cost transfers/re-allocation, re-budgeting letters, labor redistributions, check requests. 
• Prepares standard and ad-hoc reports on expenditures and awards/grants
• Reviews funding opportunities in advance of proposal development and submission to advise TCCD stakeholders of regulatory requirements and assurances associated with the prospective funding
• Identifies, hires, develops, supervises, and evaluates staff needed to conduct the Grants Management functions of the College
• Attends the workplace regularly, reports to work punctually and follows a work schedule to keep up with the demands of the worksite
• Completes all required training and professional development sessions sponsored through Tarrant County College (TCC)
• Supports the values of the College: diversity, teaching excellence, student success, innovation and creativity and service to the College
• Supports the mission, values and 3 goals and 8 principles of the College
