DUTIES/RESPONSIBILITIES:
As part of a team, this position is responsible for performing regular maintenance of SAP systems such as client / system copies, deployment / testing of SAP support packages and patches, and server configurations.  Responsibilities include all areas of SAP Basis: SAP architecture, correction and transport management (CTS/TMS), client and landscape strategies, batch scheduling, Early watch and Go-live checks, OSS note research and application, SAP GUI deployment, resolve tickets with the Help Desk, application server load balancing, printer troubleshooting and spool administration, daily system checks (CCMS), performance tuning and disaster recovery testing.
 
  • Evaluates trend analysis to detect long term performance problems and prevent performance degradation.
  • Executes processes as defined by management including incident handling, change and problem management
  • Support many concurrent projects often managing conflicting timelines
  • Research issues, new technology, adhere to secure best practices.
  • Provide 24 hour on call support coverage as needed. Works weekends and late nights as needed.
  • Works cross functionally with other technology groups to support the SAP landscape.
  • Coordinates external access requirements in support of interfaces.
  • Documents procedures, logical, physical diagrams
  • Fiori / UI5, ECC, BI, Solution Manager, Java, PI and GRC Troubleshooting
  • Implementing authentication solutions (SAML, Kerberos)
 
BASIC QUALIFICATIONS/REQUIREMENTS:
  • At least 7 years of hands-on experience upgrading / implementing / maintaining / installing enterprise environments.
  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience in technical field is required.
  • Must have significant experience in ECC 6.0 or greater, SAP BW, PI, and Enterprise Portal.
  • Must have knowledge of hardware, software, infrastructure, server architecture and enterprise technology best practices.
  • Effective verbal and written communication with peers and all levels of management a must.
  • Able to adjust readily to multiple demands and shifting priorities.
  • Able to manage significant workload, remove barriers and influence events to achieve results.
 
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS/REQUIREMENTS:
  • Significant experience in at least 2 other SAP systems. This should include CRM, SRM, SCM / APO, Business Objects BI, or Solution Manager.
  • Work with teams within the SAP Support Center to ensure solid technical design, systems execution, and appropriate business processes.
  • Proven experience in leading large cross-functional teams through all phases of implementing solutions, delivering valuable products and services on time, within budget, and within compliance of internally required and externally mandated standards and practices.
  • Experience working with external consultants and suppliers of products
  • Solution Manager security reporting or Onapsis a plus
  • SAP Mobile Platform a plus
  • HANA 1.0 / 2.0 and S/4 a plus
  • Specialist in Fiori / UI5 a plus
