Corporate Trainer

Reporting to the Senior Talent and Organizational Development Manager, the Learning and Development Specialist will design, deliver and evaluate leadership training programs to support the professional development of DFW Airport employees.
As an integral part of the success of the Airport, the professional in this position will help employees of all levels improve their overall performance.  As a corporate trainer, you have the opportunity to present instructor-led workshops in a corporate environment, create eLearning courses.  This professional will administer and analyze  surveys to assess  training effectiveness, and continuously improve the Airport’s leadership training programs by implementing new learning and development strategies and tools.
 
What you will be doing:
  • Develop, schedule and deliver courses and information and enhance the learner’s experience.
  • Partner with the Learning and Development Manager in the overall planning, scheduling, execution of training which supports the organizational needs and priorities.
  • Stay abreast of the educational trends and tools, implement new training strategies and identify ways to update or improve the employee development or coaching processes.
 
What we require of you:
  • Bachelor’s degree in learning and development, human resources, business administration or a related field.
  • Recent, relevant experience as a training specialist in a corporate environment.
  • Three (3) years of professional-level experience in designing, implementing and delivering training and developing programs.                  
  • Any equivalent combination of education and/or experience to equal one (1) year of work experience for one (1) year of education may be substituted for the above.
  • Possession of a valid Class C driver's license.
 
What we desire of you:
  • This professional will have strong leadership qualities, excellent organizational skills, and an ability to speak comfortably in front of groups. 
  • Ability to align strategic and operational needs with training programs and organizational effectiveness efforts.
  • Knowledge of instructional design, multi-media training and learning systems.
  • Five (5) years demonstrated application of progressive work experience in a corporate setting including proven professional communications, presentation, influence and facilitation skills.
  • Knowledge of the principles and techniques of adult education in a corporate environment to professional employees. (i.e.-front line employees to Senior level)
  • Certifications in one or more of the following:
    • Development Dimensions International (DDI) Certification
    • Personalysis Assessment
    • Franklin Covey development solutions Certification
    • InsideOut Certification
