• Provides basic information, guidance, and support in the area of Benefits and Compensation, Talent Acquisition, Professional Development, and Employee Relations for college employees 
• Training faculty and staff on hiring practices and procedures and the fundamentals of employee benefits, insurance, professional development and employee relations 
• Serves as a partner and information resource for faculty and staff in effort to determine best resolution
• Supports regular HR events to provide excellent customer service in the area of hiring and managing a diverse workforce 
• Ensures departmental compliance with human resource policies, procedures and practices 
• Troubleshoots by identifying the problem, uses all available resources to develop a solution 
• Composes and edits correspondence as needed
• Conducts training sessions regarding HR policies, procedures, processes and practices
• Develops excellent working and professional relationships with faculty, staff and professional network groups 
• Attends the workplace regularly, reports to work punctually and follows a work schedule to keep up with the demands of the worksite
• Completes all required training and professional development sessions sponsored through Tarrant County College (TCC)
• Supports the values of the College: diversity, teaching excellence, student success, innovation and creativity and service to the College
• Supports the mission, values and 3 goals and 8 principles of the College
HR Generalist Talent Acquisition (Recruitment)
• Assist supervisors in the process for posting and advertising for all positions
• Serves as a resource in the area of Talent Acquisition regarding attracting and hiring talent, utilizing the ATS system 
• Partners with HR Talent Acquisition team to assist with onboarding and HR recruitment processing 
• Coordinates with hiring supervisors working through the hiring process, applicant management and communication; providing resources and tools for managing an effective recruitment effort 
• Assist faculty and staff in the area of talent acquisition
