Manager, Health and Wellness Communications

This position will report through Global Communications and will be heavily connected to our Benefits and Wellness teams.
Specifically, you’ll do the following:
  • Lead and coach the Benefits and Wellness communications team, providing team members with the expectations, tools and guidance to execute well
  • Serve as subject matter expert when it comes to benefits and wellness communications
  • Develop communications that go to frontline team members, including videos, blogs, websites, industry-comparisons and senior leadership communications
  • Develop plans to communicate corporate initiatives to all workgroups, focusing on how decisions affect them
  • Lead Annual Enrollment communications, including gaining buy-in from leadership regarding our overall strategy and translating that into communications that make sense for team members
  • Oversee Annual Enrollment roadshows and other health and wellness events throughout the year
  • Manage relationships with certain third party vendors
  • Benchmark with other large employers and industry experts to develop a best-in-class communications strategy
  • Keep an eye on both internal and external news and communications to ensure we’re addressing issues and topics that our team members care about
 
 
 
Qualifications
 
Qualifications
  • Minimum of 6-8 years relevant work experience in communications, marketing or a related field
  • Experience with benefits- or wellness-related topics is a plus
  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience/training
  • Strong analytical skills, quantitative ability, solution and detail-oriented
  • High level of professionalism and discretion in handling confidential information
  • Excellent written, verbal communication and presentation skills and experience in strategic communications planning
  • Strong team player with ability to work successfully at all levels of the organization
  • Ability to lead a team, manage processes, analyze and problem-solve
  • Thrive in a fast-paced atmosphere where you work under pressure and can meet critical deadlines
  • Must have excellent time-management skills with the ability to handle multiple projects at the same time and meet deadlines effectively, efficiently and independently
  • Excellent problem solving skills and the ability to research issues to determine root cause
  • Demonstrated proficiency in Microsoft office software (Excel, Word, Outlook and PowerPoint)
  • Ability to travel with some frequency depending on time of year or project
