ETAM Business Services Specialist

As an ETAM Business Services Specialist you will be responsible for performing administrative work in the areas of contract/contractor and client support, post-award orientation, problem resolution, claims and terminations, and acts as Departmental Payroll Liaison. You will also be cross-trained in the area of key administration.
What you will be doing:
  • Capturing and maintaining records of contract activity; reconciling funds; accruing contract funds at year-end; verifying availability of funds and proper cost-center allocation for contracts
  • Communicating in writing and orally with contractors and subcontractors concerning contracts compliance issues; responding to independent audits and certifies accuracy of information
  • Reviewing, processesing, and recommending authorization of section purchase requisitions, requests for payment, contract payments, and purchase orders
  • Assisting with special projects by researching and compiling data and presenting in report, spreadsheet, or graph formats
  • Supporting Board staff, contractors, and clients by processing a variety of applications including badge applications/deletions, AOA parking permits, biometric registrations, key/core requests and network/database access
  • Creating pick-lists to meet contract requirements for materials and supplies to maintain Board infrastructure assets
  • Serving as Departmental Payroll Liaison (as necessary); processing payroll and OJI paperwork for all or a portion of the department, using the Airport’s payroll systems
What you need:
  • Completion of a High School Diploma or GED
  • Two (2) years of experience in a facilities, public works, or similar maintenance environment, inventory control or parts distribution
  • Possession of a valid Class C driver’s license
  • Must be able to pass Department of Homeland Security Transportation
  • Security (TSA) requirements background check to obtain Security Identification Display Area (SIDA) badge within 30 days of employment
What we desire:
  • Three (3) years experience administering facilities maintenance-related contracts
  • Some (1 year) of college in finance, business, or related field
  • Payroll (Kronos) processing experience
