The PMO Manager oversees Mouser’s team of Project Managers in Information Services. The PMO Manager is responsible for complete oversight of all projects in IS. This includes forecasting, assigning, planning, leading, tracking and supporting projects and programs throughout all phases of Mouser’s SDLC process. In addition, the PMO Manager will supports and remove impediments for the Project Management, Business Analyst, Software Development and QA teams. The team focuses on delivering solid (internal) customer service while providing comprehensive solutions to support the organization. The Manager will establish relationships and work with Mouser’s Business Managers, IS Managers, Directors and Executives and other department leaders to define, prioritize, and determine funding limitations and staffing requirements
Manages day-to-day activities in the IS Project Management team to ensure IT programs and projects meet the organization’s goals and requirements. This includes efficiently tracking resource assignments and projects.
Maintain a strong business acumen in IS and throughout the business and apply it to each assignment.
Ability to perform business analysis functions which include eliciting and writing requirements. Establish and maintain open, fluid and timely communications with all interested parties, stakeholders, and project team members. This could include all levels from Company Executives to individual contributors.
Proactively implements and provides guidance related to processes and policies.
Be involved in all stages of the project lifecycle, from project request through project close.
Ensure Mouser’s SDLC is adhered to throughout the project lifecycle.
Champion, drive and aid in the evolution of Mouser’s project lifecycle within IS including documentation standards and communications.
Must take initiative to spend time with all user levels. This includes formal meetings, informal meetings, side by sides, etc.
Act as a mentor and coach to the IS Project Managers, as well as any other IS team members, by providing daily and proactive support in a timely manner.
Provides guidance and manages resources to include assignment, performance and training.
Develops and provides feedback for annual performance reviews.
Lead and manage a team of typically 5 or more resources.
Assists in the interview and evaluation process of potential new hires.
Work effectively on multiple priorities with strict deliverable dates.
Maintains strong relationships with other department leaders to define, prioritize, determine funding limitations and staffing requirements and develop projects and programs.
Openly communicate with management the progress and issues that encompass the IS department.
Provide all stakeholders with high-level of service excellence.
Ensure critical project issues are escalated, as needed, and resolved quickly while implementing strategies and solutions to help reduce the likelihood of reoccurrence. 
Trustworthy, maintains confidentiality, and follows company policies and procedures.
Participate in RFP, estimation, negotiation and contract execution.
Reviews MSAs and SOWs for pending and active projects.
Successfully manage vendor relationships for multiple initiatives on a daily basis.
Assists in the planning and management of a formal agile implementation.
Minimum of Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Business Administration or related field required. Graduate degree preferred.
PMP highly preferred
Minimum 6 years of experience in project management required
Minimum of 1 to 3 years of previous management experience
Minimum 2 years experience of managing vendor relationships and vendor resources required
Minimum 2 to 3 years experience in an agile environment preferred
Agile Certified Practitioner (ACP), Certified Scrum Master (CSM), or one of the Scaled Agile Framework (SAFe) certifications is highly preferred.
Lean Six Sigma experience a plus.
Experience working with offshore resources
•             In-depth understanding of project management methodologies (waterfall, agile, prototyping, JAD).
•             Experience with all phases of the Software Development Lifecycle, including system analysis, design, coding, testing, debugging and documentation.
•             In depth understanding of Mouser’s business systems, applications, data sources etc.
•             Proficient in Microsoft Office Applications
•             Experience using project management software such as Microsoft Project, Rally, Jira and/or TFS.
•             Proven ability to manage multiple enterprise-level, large, complex projects is required
•             Strong business acumen, operations and problem-solving skills, along with the ability to assess current practices, identify opportunities for improvement, build consensus and drive the implementation of related changes.
•             Strong leadership skills with the ability to influence effectively without being authoritative, balancing between competing priorities while remaining flexible and creative.
•             Demonstrates proven extensive knowledge and success as a team leader. Experience supervising teams and creating an atmosphere of trust and seeking diverse views to encourage improvement and innovation; answering questions and providing direction to less-experienced staff; coaching staff including providing timely meaningful written and verbal feedback.
•             Strong ability to prioritize, communicate clearly, holds a consistent track record of delivery, and an obsession about the customer experience.
•             Outstanding written and verbal communication skills with the ability to work up, down and across organizational levels.
•             Ability to translate communication needs of employees/customer not versed in software terminology into meaningful solutions
•             Experience interacting with executives, managers, subject matter experts, and product owners.
•             Exceptionally self-motivated, solid interpersonal skills and a good communicator.
•             Extremely detailed oriented, committed to excellence and takes unrelenting pride in their work.
•             Excellent problem solving skills, willingness to take ownership and risks, and enthusiasm in the face of technical challenges.
•             Solid presentation skills and unaffected by the various types of leadership present.
•             Exhibits time management and organization skills, works with minimum supervision; makes independent decisions, and is detailed and thorough in work habits with the ability to multi-task.
•             Excellent negotiation skills with business team members and vendors.
•             Proven ability in conflict resolution while remaining calm in the face of opposition or tense situations.
•             Desire to work in a fast-paced environment.
