Talent and Learning System Manager

Reporting to the Senior Talent and Organizational Development Manager, this professional will ensure the development of DFW Airport employees through the management of the Airport’s Learning Management System [LMS]. 
As an integral part of the success of the Airport, the professional in this position will ensure the LMS is available 24/7 to employees and contractors by acting as the primary liaison with the LMS vendor and by staying abreast of new LMS enhancements.     As a learning systems manager, this individual will help employees of all levels improve their overall performance through the design and implementation of eLearning courses. 
This professional will administer and analyze training surveys to determine classroom and eLearning effectiveness and offer recommendations to continuously improve the Airport’s training programs.
What you will be doing:
  • Administer all aspects of the Airport’s learning management system.
  • Deliver training to department subject matter experts and users on how to effectively utilize the LMS in their areas.
  • Conduct trend analysis by compiling and consolidating feedback from surveys related to training sessions.
  • Design and/or assist in the design of eLearning courses.
  • Partner with the Learning and Development Manager in the overall planning, scheduling, execution of training which supports the organizational needs and priorities.
What we require of you:
  • Bachelor’s Degree in human resources, organizational development, or business administration.
  • Two (2) years of experience in human resources, learning and development or other HR discipline.
  • One (1) year of experience as an administrator of a learning management system.
  • Any equivalent combination of education and/or experience may be substituted for the above on a year-for-year basis.
  • Possession of a valid Class C driver’s license.
What we desire of you:
  • Ability to align strategic and operational needs with training programs and organizational effectiveness efforts.
  • Knowledge of instructional design and multi-media training.
  • Five (5) years demonstrated application of progressive work experience in a corporate setting including proven professional communications, presentation, influence and facilitation skills.
  • Knowledge of the principles and techniques of adult education in a corporate environment to professional employees. (i.e.-front line employees to Senior level)
  • Strong leadership qualities, excellent organizational skills, and an ability to speak comfortably in front of groups.
  • Recent, relevant experience with a Learning Management System.
